The Elysia Xpressor 500 features Class A circuitry for brilliantly discrete compression and is suitable for use with all styles of music. There are controls for Threshold, Attack, Release, Ratio, Sidechain Filter, Gain Reduction Limiter, Gain and Mix.

The Xpressor offers switchable semi-automation for a perfect attack at any set value, as well as a Log Release for an alternative release curve for a more gentle compression. The Warm Mode button provides an additional mode of compression by altering the frequency spectrum, harmonics and transient response.

The Xpressor 500's rear panel has stereo XLR inputs and outputs, for use with mono and stereo tracks, so that the Xpressor can be used for compressing individual mono or stereo tracks or as a summing compressor for a stereo master track.
